From dentistry to sedation: A journey of care
Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2004, Dr Sarah has been dedicated to general dentistry, honing her skills and providing comprehensive care. Her expertise extends to working as a specialised dental advisor for the CQC. Her passion for helping anxious patients led her to sedation dentistry, where she has been working in a sedation clinic since 2019. In 2022, she completed her SAAD training, qualifying her to independently carry out both intravenous and inhalation sedation. Dr Sarah enjoys making patients feel at ease, enabling them to receive essential treatments that would otherwise be impossible.
The art of aesthetics: Expertise rooted in dentistry
Dr Sarah's extensive experience as a dentist has provided a unique foundation for her expertise in facial aesthetics. Her steady hand and familiarity with injecting delicate areas, coupled with her deep understanding of facial anatomy from years of cosmetic dental treatments, make her an expert in aesthetic assessments. She ensures her aesthetics patients feel comfortable and relaxed, leveraging her calm and confident manner honed through daily patient interaction in general dentistry and sedation. Uniquely, as a dentist, she can also offer dental anaesthesia for certain facial aesthetic treatments.
Qualifications and unwavering commitment to excellence
Dr Sarah's commitment to continuous learning and patient care is reflected in her qualifications. She is fully SAAD trained since 2022 and has been working in a sedation referral practice making her highly experienced in sedation. For facial aesthetics, she trained at the Derma Institute London, where she gained expertise in up-to-date medical aesthetics and skin rejuvenation treatments, including exosomes, PRP, polynucleotides, microneedling, skin boosters, Botox, and dermal fillers. She started with Botox treatment training on Harley Street in 2017.
